Fadi Fawaz denied the latest allegations from The Sun claiming he has demanded a multi-million pound pay-out from George Michael’s fortune.
Fadi Fawaz reactivated his Twitter account today to deny the latest allegations from The Sun.
On May 21, 2017, The Sun’s Laura Armstrong reported that “George Michael’s former lover has demanded a multi-million pound pay-out from the superstar’s fortune.”
After previously deleting his Twitter account, Fadi came back on May 21 to respond to The Sun’s article. He directed his message to The Sun’s editor, who contradicts herself in referring to Fadi calling him in one sentence as “former lover” and then as a “former rent boy” in the next paragraph:
The Sun’s latest allegations are based on Andros Georgiou, George Michael’s childhood friend that the singer banished from his life for nearly 20 years. According to Andros,
“Fadi is now seeking a significant pay-out of George’s money, and his attempt has come out of the blue.
This is not something his family ever imagined they would have to deal with.
But Fadi has made no secret of how much he wants money.”
Andros pointed out that Fadi’s demands stem from the failure to get the desired payout from a book deal and the need to maintain the lifestyle that he was accustomed to when George was alive. According to Andros:
“It has not gone unnoticed that he has been touting around for a book deal and has spoken to several publishers, who have made offers.
“But while he was expecting to make a million pounds, he’s probably looking at £50,000.
“That is not going to keep up the lavish life he lived alongside George for very long – and I’m sure he can now see his comforts disappearing.”
Since George Michael’s death, Andros has made a number of claims about the late singer and his partner Fadi that have been proven to be false. In a sit-down interview with BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire on January 17, Andros claimed that “hard drugs are back” in the late singer’s life, which the coroner’s report proved to be false.
Andros also claimed to The Sun on February 11 that “Fadi Fawaz is banned to the funeral.” Fadi’s attendance at the March 29 funeral proved these allegations to be wrong.
In a message to IntelligentGossip.com, Fadi denies all allegations in The Sun’s article. Fadi said, “It’s all lies. Except for the memories here with George.” Fadi has steadfastly continued to remain silent about his life with George.
He also reiterates the statement he issued to the media on March 13:
“Some guy claiming to be George’s cousin, and who knows nothing about our life together, is coming out with the craziest rubbish.
‘Although it is simply crazy stuff it makes me embarrassed and sad that this is still happening, and that some people even seem to take it seriously.’
Now I just want to be left alone to get on with my life and to think about the person I have lost.
‘I want to grieve, and I want other people to show respect for the loss of the man who brought such wonderful music to all.
‘I want to be left alone.
‘I have nothing more for the newspapers to sell, only my grief. They are even judging that because I can still smile sometimes.
‘If they do continue to write about me I apologise in advance and tell you that this part of my life is finished now.
‘This sad, sad story is coming to its end and I just have to move on.
‘With thanks and respect. Fadi.’
Isabel.
Thanks for taking the time and doing this.
Respect
Actions speak louder than words and Fadi has proven that! We should let him grieve in peace and get on with his life without having to defend himself against
fabricated stories!
So true. Poor Fadi. What did he do to deserve that?
Good respect your opinion but fadi began when I publish a series of messages saying that George wanted to commit suicide that is not done to start and every time they talk about Kenny Goss fadi reacts in a bad way and cancels his account because ????? If Kenny speaks stupid problem of the
But fadi when george died I published a lot of nonsense instead of being quiet and not doing it that’s why everyone hates it and why he has not sued the newspaper The Sun ???? If the stories are fake why let them treat you like a delinquent ??? Fadi has in his hands the solution to end this circus or not ????
Let him grieve in peace, he is one of the only one aside from George’s family who has not spoken about George and his personal life and for that he deserves our respect and kindness . Leave the man alone so he can heal and move on.
Yes, I totally agree with you !
Most of the people George was close to are keeping quiet. Except Kenny of course.
Please do some investigating before you say that! Here in the USA, Kenny is doing so much charity work for the Goss/Michael Foundation located in Dallas. Kenny was Entertainment Tonight speaking of their causes thru’ their years. He is now turning his direction to health issues & addictions. If you go to Kenny Goss Instagrams.com you will understand more. That goes for Fadi. GM loved who he loved. I feel equally as bad for Fadi !
Kenny said ” GM told him ‘you are a lucky Bastard.’ do something with it! Kenny is speaking for the one who doesn’t have a voice now for his causes! He did not sell GM out. I have heard GM say those things in his documented interviews.
Thank you ~
